YouTube Pulls Down NRSC Web Ad

YouTube has just notified me that they have pulled down the NRSC web ad featuring copyrighted material from the Buckeye State Blog.

Ben Smith already has it up on Politico with the title “Ohio blog kills NRSC ad”.

Update: And here is our statement:

The Buckeye State Blog has successfully petitioned video hosting site YouTube to remove a National Republican Senatorial Committee web advertisement featuring our copyrighted video.

We are appalled that an organization that champions personal responsibility could act so irresponsibly, and would urge them to either modify their advertisement to respect copyright laws or refrain from further promoting it.
