When Hell Freezes Over

David Potts - Posted on 17 August 2011

Remember when S.B. 5 was passed? Remember all the Democratic amendments that were tabled? Remember when committees in both the House and Senate were literally recreated in order to force the bill through?

Well after all of that, now Governor John Kasich wants a deal.

What's the matter Johnny, your bus get stuck in a ditch?

We recall when he and his legislative cronies drove that bus over anyone who dared to challenge them. They were hellbent on putting unions out of business, with no input from anyone. NOW he wants to seem all reasonable. Ha!
Let's work together to retire Ken Blackwell from politics
I ll be back again in the future to check out other posts that you have on your blog. cleanse
...how many Democratic amendments were offered and tabled?
... of George Bush, Rick Perry, and Michelle Bachmann. Kasich has been nothing but a Republican party ideologue. You're either against us or for us on SB5. When it turned out that most Ohioans were against it, now the bluster is gone and he wants to compromise. I think compromise is great. Here's what you can compromise to do. Repeal SB5 and then we can talk.
The future of labor is NOT with the Democratic Party. "...unions have begun shifting money and resources out of Democratic congressional campaigns and back to the states in a furious effort to reverse or limit GOP measures that could wipe out union rolls. "The AFL-CIO's president, Richard Trumka, says it's part of a new strategy for labor to build an independent voice separate from the Democratic Party." http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/09/04/obama-democrats-labor-unions_n_948319.html
