Voter Supression Tactics in NC?
BSB received a mesage today from Democracy North Carolina in response to this post of Jerid's from last year. Apparently similar voter suppresion tactics are being used in North Carolina in advance of the May 6th primary, targeting African-American voters. In addition to the prezzie, NC Democrats will be selecting their nominee for Governor and US Senator. The current governor, Democrat Mike Easley, is term limited out. The US Senate nominee will be taking on incumbent Sen. Elizabeth Dole.
