Bob Shamansky joined Rep. Marcy Kaptur, as well as other Ohio congressional candidates Lew Katz, Mary Jo Kilroy, and Robin Weirauch at today's Democratic Congressional healthcare event in Columbus.

Our healthcare system is in crisis - and rather than working together to fix it, the Republican administration and rubberstamp representatives like Pat Tiberi simply bend to the will of for-profit medicine, and big PhARMA. It's time for a change. Democrats like Bob and other Ohio congressional challengers have a plan. When they're elected this November, they will:

high time
It's about time someone started talking about health care in this election.
It's a moral issue -- ensuring that all Americans have access to a basic level of health care services -- but it's also an economic issue. If we do not take the burden of health care costs off of our small businesses, we will cripple our own economy. And big American corporations are suffering too. How much of the cost of every American car goes to health care premiums?? How are Ford and GM supposed to compete with foreign automakers under this system? I guess the Republicans in Congress don't think those businesses matter to Ohio.
Glad to see Shamansky and Kaptur taking the lead on this.
