The Thirty-Six Million Dollar gamble.
That's how much the pro-Issue 3 PAC has ALREADY spent to advocate for its right to have a gambling monopoly created and enshrined in our constitution.
That's more money than what Strickland and Blackwell spent in 2006 combined, more than Obama and McCain spent in Ohio in paid media combined.
$36 MILLION, and that's just one side of the debate!
In contrast, the anti-Issue 3 campaign has only been able to spend $5.3 million. That's a 7:1 disadvantage.
If Issue 3 fails, then the gambling interests need to get a clue: they cannot buy a constituionally protected monopoly in Ohio.
And I'm hearing more and more signs that support for Issue 3 is waning and is polling below 50%. Just like every gambling initative in the past has done.
