The Mandatory Introduction Post

As you have probably heard, Jerid is leaving BSB to focus on his law career. You may have also heard that I'm 50% of his replacement.

For those who don't know me, I've been blogging regularly since the summer of 2006. I initially started out at a small site named "Left of Ohio" and late last year moved to "Ohio Valley Politics". So far my focus has been mainly on the area that makes up the 6th and 18th congressional districts, and I'll probably use this area as a starting point for my posting as I gradually familiarize myself with the rest of the state.

I still have a few loose ends to tie up before I turn my full attention to BSB, but I hope to be up and running within a week. I'm sure the other half of the new admins, Dr. Truth, will be stopping by sometime today with his own introduction post. Keep an eye out for that. I'm not sure that even the two of us will be able to fill the shoes that Jerid is leaving behind, but we'll sure try.
