Stivers Gay Porn Supporter "Disappeared" From Vets For Freedom
A day or so ago I reported on how Vets for Freedom, a pro-blowing shit up in Iraq group, had endorsed Republican Steve Stivers in OH-15. Interestingly enough too, one of Vets for Freedom's bloggers - Matt Sanchez - was a gay porn star (which seemingly is at odds with the whole "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy, and the Republican Party's core tenants). Anyways, not surprisingly, today I got word from a reader that any record of Matt Sanchez's involvement with Vets for Freedom, and support for the Stiver's Campaign, had mysteriously disappeared from the group's website.
Here's an update on the VFF Stivers endorsement. VFF deleted the Matt Sanchez posts. There's no mention of Sanchez on any of their web pages and the links to his articles come up blank. Too bad really. I'd love to see one of these conservative groups explain how they could support Matt Sanchez even though they persecute other gay servicemen.
Wow. What an amazing coincidence. We write about how VFF has a gay porn star on it's blog, and he mysteriously vanishes. T's got to just be some glitch in the tubes, right?
Once again, the point of all of this is to touch on the epic hypocrisy of this group, and the Republican party. If the party weren't so twisted out of shape re: homosexuals, "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," or even pornography (here's looking at you, Phil Buress) this would be a non-issue. Unfortunately though, it's just another example of their epic hypocrisy.
