So What Happens To Garrison's House District? Here's The Latest

David Potts - Posted on 27 August 2009

I know when Jennifer Garrison announced her bid for Secretary of State, there was a lot of talk about what was going to happen to her House seat.

Obviously I (and no one else) can give an exact answer to that until after the election, but I've done a little digging and here's what I know.

There are interested parties. Yes, more than one. I don't have a lot of details on most of them (not even names), but one in particular that I do know a little about sounds interesting.

So what does this mean? Well, mainly that people aren't asleep at the wheel on this one.

That digging must have been exhausting. So you're saying that the latest is that the seat will not remain empty and that someone will run for it! Great news! Without giving away your source, can you confirm the rumor that I had heard after some digging of my own that at least one of the interested parties is an adult who lives in Ohio? And can you confirm that at least one of them has two ears?
ytownboy3 predicts the Dem candidate will come from the AG's office, not that AG Cordray himself is involved in any manner. A young man with aspirations from Wash would like to give it a go. He is selling himself to Mr. Speak as we speak......Rs take seat back, sorry to say......wish it weren't so....

I did hear about one from Washington County, but I've also heard about another one who's an elected official. There's also a third I don't know much about.
