Seinfeld co-creator - keep that woman away from the phone at 3 a.m.
Larry David on the 3 a.m. phone call.
There have been times in this campaign when she seemed so unhinged that I worried she'd actually kill herself if she lost.... A few weeks ago, I started to feel sorry for her. Oh Christ, let her win already...Who cares...It's not worth it....
And then I saw the ad. I watched, transfixed, as she took the 3 a.m. call...and I was afraid...very afraid. Suddenly, I realized the last thing this country needs is that woman anywhere near a phone.
YA THINK?!?!?! Maybe we'll get lucky and she'll have the answering machine on at 3 a.m.
dude, it's go time
i appreciate the sentiment, Mark, but i'm sorry. when a candidate uses race, ethnic, and religious division for political gain, all bets are off. she crossed a line she should never have even thought about approaching, let alone hurtling over in a prancing leap.
it's go time. fasten your seat belt.
but what will be your general election perspective?
When the election is between two folks who share over 90% of their policy planks, I can understand why a rational person would come to their decision over campaign tactics. But when the general election comes, the platforms of the major party candidates will differ significantly. That's at least 4 years of governing on either a progressive or a right-wing agenda. Does that perspective affect who you will support in the general? Will you support neither candidate if Clinton is the nominee?
I'm still supporting Obama and think that challenging anything Clinton or her campaigns says and does is worthwhile-- I don't think promoting bad photos is a challenge, though. It's simply an insult.
bad photos? again, are your serious?
last i looked, none of the photos here were made to make her look blacker.
get used to it.
It seems like you're saying
It seems like you're saying that she did it worse, she did it first, my turn. Two wrongs don't make an airplane.
Get used to it? Alright boss, but I might still try to let you know when I think a something you post might be bad for progressives. Thanks for considering what I had to say.
bad for progressives?
mark, you need to check the ol' onion bag to see if you have any. you wanna roll over and play dead while this woman shits all over our party, you go right ahead. i'm not ready for that. not by a long shot.
this woman has basically endorsed john mccain over obama. she used the same tactics last week to scare voters into voting for her that George W. Bush used in 2004. she is running the worst sort of campaign she could possibly run, and i doubt she will make a u-turn at any time soon, and it will destroy the Democratic Party if she is allowed to succeed.
if i were you, i'd figure out who really is bad for progressives. i'm just a blogger. she's trying to be the Democratic nominee. i'm sure she will be far worse for progresives if she's allowed to play this game unchecked.
time to check her. hard.
Are you guys serious?

She won get over it
When Obama wins the nomination or I can vote for a third-party leftist candidate in the general, that's when I'll get over it.
Two words come to mind......
"Extreme immaturity"
And why exactly should anyone care what any celebrity has to say about any candidate? Perhaps we should ask Steve O or Paris Hilton what they think, too?
(And I say this all as no fan whatsoever of Hillary).
Some celebrity quotes are just funny
Some celebrity quotes are just funny
I will say that I think the unflattering pictures are a distraction when you consider how Hillary likes to frame herself as a "victim".
I know, it's hard for those of us who have gotten to "know" her to imagine her as "victim" but clearly she's been able to convince some people that the media is picking on her, and that the debates are unfair, and that she'll be cheated out of Michigan delegates even though Obama wasn't even on the ballot, and that asking for her to release her joint tax return to show the People where she got $5 million to "lend" her campaign is somehow a "Rovian" attack, and on and on.

I might've skipped the unflattering photos of Clinton
