Results: The Something-other-than-straw poll
Well, the first BSB Something-other-than-straw poll(tm) has come to a close. What a long, strange trip it's been.
We've talked about Al BGore a lot more than I expected.
We've been invaded by Clarkites (???).
We've made fun of Fatty Matty. ("Fatty Matty" is a statement of personal opinion that in every no way represents the stated policy or belief of BSB, Staff, or the other assorted bits and pieces of the BSB Empire. "Fatty Matty" is not intended to help Scott Pullins allegedly clog Ohio's court system(s) with allegedly frivilous lawsuits.)
Here, dear friends, are the results.
| name | percent | votes |
|---|---|---|
| John Edwards | 31% | 61 |
| Barack Obama | 14% | 27 |
| Al Gore | 11% | 21 |
| Hillary Clinton | 10% | 19 |
| Bill Richardson | 9% | 18 |
| Joe Biden | 3% | 6 |
| Tom Vilsack | 2% | 3 |
| Howard Dean | 1% | 1 |
| *Wesley Clark | 21% | 41 |
Edwards is the front-runner. Clark is disqualified because of Clarkites clicking Wesley like a crack-addled rodent pressing the coke button in a Pavlovian test project. Hillary didn't do so well -- Albert bests her and another Bill is right behind her.
Just remember -- none of the frontpagers here have a mule in this race. But it wouldn't hurt this guy's feelings if Edwards/Obama '08 made it through the primaries. I'm just sayin.
So, what do you think?

I like to call them
