Redfern Appoints His Delegates, Dann No Longer A Democrat

Blue Bexley is reporting that Chris Redfern has appointed Dave Reagan and William Craig Bashein as his two picks to be un-pledged delegates.

Dave Reagan is president of SEIU District 1199, while William Craig Bashein is a Cleveland area lawyer.

Both, like Redfern, will remain uncommitted.

Glass City Jungle is reporting that Marc Dann has been successfully striped of his Democratic endorsement, making him officially an independent.

Correction: As pointed out in the comments, Reagan hascommitted to Obama.

The two go together

Considering redfern has chosen not to endorse in the prezzie and based on the FACTS which have so far surfaced in the Dann case, I remain squarely in Marc's corner. Screw redfern's ODP.

Regan

The local fish wrap reported earlier this week that Dave REGAN has resigned from 1199. He is going to DC to work for the international. Dave is a great guy who has done a lot for working folks in Ohio and WV. He will be missed here locally.

REGAN has committed

The AP reported this afternoon the following quote:

Ohio labor leader Dave Regan, who was selected as a superdelegate Saturday, told the AP that Obama is "the candidate that can unite the country and move beyond the divisiveness and gridlock that we have today."

Regan recognized that Clinton won the Ohio primary March 4.

"But that was two months ago. I think as the campaign has unfolded, Obama is looking like a stronger and stronger candidate," Regan said. "I think it's very likely he will be the nominee."

Just take a little time to read. MARK ANOTHER ONE UP FOR OBAMA!

I didn't know you could do that...

but I like the idea. I also liked Redfern's description "an independent who was elected as a Democrat”. In SC, we had a high-way named after the former Comptroller. After he was found guilty of securities fraud, they took the highway name back. Personally, I think it's highly appropriate.

AG's record as lawyer scrutinized

So now voters are learning the truth..... I wonder why ODP never told us this....

"Dann's "C" rating on the Martindale-Hubbard peer rating system, which only grants ratings of A, B and C, is troubling for a lawyer of Dann's experience, said John T. Brown, a Mansfield lawyer who previously served on the Ohio Supreme Court's commission on grievances and discipline."

So what would Dann's rating be if he wasn't graded on a curve, "F"?

"Dann's most loyal aides say he's a creative lawyer who often gets involved in the details of cases, even though he employs about 340 lawyers."

Dann hasn't won every case, but his aggressive approach sends a message to companies that would defraud consumers...... That a poorly rated, experienced, overly aggressive, (but stupid) AG, will bring your company to court, but you will win your case, because the AG will make mistakes by control freak/micromanaging and screw the whole thing up with poor management.

So go ahead Corporate America and do whatever you want....Dann can't catch you, because its hard to run with your pants down.
