UPDATE: Ray Miller Throws Rosemary Palmer Under The Bus
I'm late for a dentist appointment the way it is, but I'm furious over this.
I've just heard that Ray Miller has told Rosemary Palmer that the Domocratic Senate Caucus will be supporting Gary Kucinich in the 24th state senate district.
Seriously, is there something in the water in Columbus? Why is the Democratic leadership suddenly trying to play God, rather than let the process play out normally?
UPDATE: Maybe its because Gary Kucinich hasn't done anything to campaign for this race, while Rosemary Palmer sent this flyer to the members of the Cuyahoga County Democratic Party Exec Committee.

I keep hearing that Padgett's old district (20th) is going to be contested, yet I've seen no sign of support from Miller and company.
The man is nothing more than an ass who thinks he can use his position to run for Senate.
Please tell us that you're kidding -- isn't one Kucinich in Ohio politics embarassing enough? What is Ray Miller thinking?! Dennis has been embarassing northeast Ohio for too long now, and now we're going to put another one in office? Wasn't he a used-car salesman?
If Gary Kuchinich is the nominee, there will be a LOT of Democrats who will be voting for a Republican come November! Maybe Ray Miller needs to start thinking about if he ever wants to get the Senate back, or if he wants to stay in the minority forever!
They knew about her residency from the start and thought it was a non-issue. I've even heard that the Senate Caucus' attorney gave her the OK.
There's gotta be something else going on here.
Article 2 Section 6 states, in part, "Each House shall be the judge of the election, returns, and qualifications of its members." Ultimately, any challenge is decided this way, though challenges seldom get that far.
The caucus counsel could give her no better advice than that. DPotts has it right. Something else is going on.
