PolitiFact Ohio Not Kind to Ohio GOP

So let’s see:

• Jim Renacci’s (OH-16) claim that Ohio has lost “600,000 jobs” and that the district’s “unemployment has doubled?” FALSE
• The OHRCC’s attempt to tie State Rep. Matt Patten (OH House 18) to disgraced Cuyahoga County Democratic Party leaders Jimmy Dimora and Frank Russo? FALSE
• The Ohio GOP’s attempt to tie Maryellen O’Shaugnessey to Dimora? FALSE
• John Kasich’s absurd claim that “Ted Strickland destoryed Ohio jobs when he busted the budget?” (what does that even mean, asshole?) FALSE

And I’m not even mentioning Renacci’s complete flip-flop on privatizing social security, Portman’s complete bullshit claim that Ohio is 44th in getting money for worker retraining under Lee Fisher, or, the biggest whopper of them all, Josh Mandel’s race-baiting, bigoted, unforgivable story about Kevin Boyce. (How this one escaped the “Pants on Fire” rating I’m not sure).

Moral of the story: Any way you slice it, when you are looking for facts, don’t listen to GOPer candidates.
