Operation Infiltration Radio Silence
I gotta tell ya, before I start in on this post, I don't think I have laughed so much on any other day as I did today.
So we (lets call it the royal we) decided to test a theory by performing an elaborate experiment. Just how dumb and hypocritical are the right wing blogging base ? That was the question.
From that "Operation Infiltration" was born. A purely psyops operation - while the knuckledraggers (and we'll get to those gems in a minute) thought it was the GOP 72 hour program we were infiltrating (Like that operation would be publicized on the biggest political blog in the state! LOL), what we really infiltrated was their paranoid minds. In fact so successful was this infiltration that it actually affected the GOP's GOTV effort (some were being told to bring ID before volunteering! LOL).
With no actual evidence of anything but a few blog posts, we threw a bone and they all chased it like puppies. Even snaring the whacked out Michelle Malkin. Dozens of bloggers and their minions wasted an entire day in panic - a day that could have been used advocating for their candidates, ok, attacking actual Democratic candidates.
The dumbasity of freepers cannot be underestimated (no wonder they all think Iraq was involved in 9/11 and we found WMD over there - they'll believe anything they are told). I received what must be 40 emails from these jokers all asking for the "mission profile". Sorry guys, I aint as dumb as you. I must admit they were creative though.

The serial exclamation marks were a bonus. My favorites though were the nastygrams. Ranging from a simple

oooooohhhhh. I am in awe of the intellectual firepower - I'm hoping it's a shortlist and they are going to award me a prize ! Almost a stupid as thinking my host was somehow in on all this...
So we've established their idiocy. Let's establish their hypocrisy.
Not one person on the right, blogger, commenter or emailer ever made mention of the actual voter suppression efforts their actual party is engaged in. In fact in 1 state the AG told them to cease and desist. Here in Ohio the GOP's efforts to eliminate poll watchers was also quashed by a judge.
I'm sorry fellas, but you consistently expose yourself to this because none of you are intellectually honest. Indeed I think you have all been brainwashed, or suffer some pathological disorder.
If this state, this country, is ever going to work I'm afraid you are all going to have to look in the mirror and take some responsibility for the mess your party has created, all on its own. My party isn't perfect but the fact I can say so means it can and will get better. Right now you're giving booze to an alcoholic.
Before I close I have to admit to one disappointment with Operation Infiltration. Together with the blog posts, some fake flyers were anonymously mailed out to a bunch of knuckledraggers, flyers like this

I would have bet money one of them would have posted it as proof of a canvassing infiltration, but damn if they didn't censor it.
Of course, having wrote all this, I'm sure they'll think I am still just messing with their heads - and they might just be right about that.
