OH House-92: More Disgusting Republican Mailings [UPDATED]

The other day I posted a homophobic mailing sent out by Bob Bennett, and in response someone forwarded me another disgusting mailing. This one targets Debbie Phillips’s opposition to the death penalty, and it does so in a very crude and dishonest way.

But instead of simply saying Phillips opposes the death penalty, they try and make it appear like she wants this guy to walk free.
This ad is a load of crap. I oppose the death penalty (two wrongs don’t make a right anyone?), but that sure as hell doesn’t mean I support people like Mundt.
But even more important, the people of Ohio are struggling to find jobs and pay thier debts at this point. The fact that the Republicans are spending so much time bringing up these fringe issues in such a slanderous way shows just how out of touch they are.
Update: Please consider donating to Debbie Phillips so she can fight off these attacks.
Update #2: Ezra Klein has commented on this mailing, saying "I think this is probably the dirtiest mailer I've seen this cycle". I'd still say that this one (mentioned above) is a close second.

Yesterday, unfortunately, I saw several of Ohio's citizens who had attended a McCain/Palin rally in Strongsville.Of their many accusations was the one about ACORN..guess there must be a lot of stuff hitting the mail this week..
Anyway..it is totally false as the above Huff Post states..Try getting it out to local papers..

They are running pretty much the same campaign against Darlene Dunn in Ohio House District 46. They have the money to saturate the Toledo airwaves with this complete nonsense. No ideas, no facts, no ideology, just misinformation and slander.
