OH-6: Wilson To Hold Conference Call With Constituents

Tomorrow night Rep. Charlie Wilson will be making a few phone calls. Actually, he’ll be making tens of thousands of them.

Wilson will be holding a telephone town hall. At 7 P.M. tomorrow night some 6th district residents will get a phone call offering them the chance to participate in a (moderated) conference call with Wilson. If they opt in, they’ll be able to to hear Wilson discuss his work in Congress and perhaps even ask him a question.

This isn’t the first such teleconference Wilson has done, a similar call in March had over 4,500 participants.

“I held one of these in March and it was very successful. Many people have called, written and emailed asking when I would hold another one.

“I’m eager to hear from all the residents I represent. Last time we had more than 4,500 people on the call. This technology that allows me to hear from so many people at once and to speak directly with them is exciting. I’m looking forward to doing this again.”
