OH-5: Suckin' the NRCC Dry On Cash
The Swing State Project had a great post up last night about continued expenditures in OH-5 for both the Dems and GOPers. Early on we were focussed on the money game with the Dems, and since this race is no unquestionably "alive", the whole money aspect is less important for us. However, for the NRCC, who are already $1 million in debt, OH-5 has already shaped up to be a disaster.
Just yesterday GOPers made their third media buy in the district.

Purpose: Issue Ad Placement
That brings the NRCC's total expenditures in district to a magical $381,000. AND...I wouldn't be surprised if they put in a last minute buy today since this is the final day folks can purchase air time (especially after they see that Strickland commercial).
Additionally, as we've said for the past few days...Dems really are here to play. They dropped an additional $15,000 into the district yesterday.
People don't spend money in hopeless districts. And Republicans don't spend money in locked up, safe districts.
