OH-2: David Krikorian Will Run As A Democrat

Last year's Independent candidate against Jean Schmidt, David Krikorian, will seek the Democratic nomination in that race next year.
"After careful consideration of both political parties and another independent run, the decision became obvious, the Democratic Party is the party of America today. The Republican party has become the party of obstruction.
"Our district is a conservative district, they used to call conservative Democrats, Boll Weevil Democrats. Today we are called Blue Dog Democrats.
"I want to help our country get back on the road to economic prosperity. Jean Schmidt and the Republican party had their chance to provide fiscal leadership and instead delivered enormous budget deficits and the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression. With the support of the Democratic Party, I will beat Jean Schmidt in 2010"

Hamilton County Dem, I won't vote for him. He made a visit to a local coffee house during the last campaign, and people almost came to blows: one a die hard Democrat and one about as conservative as you can get. Guess which one supported Krikorian?
Burned his Democratic bridges

The dude has burned his Democratic bridges. Let him sink as he sunk the constituents in the 2nd district that have to tolerate an eternity of selfish Republican rule. How can we really trust him? He's a Democrat but wait, you are a Republican? "I am running as an Independent because..." blah blah blah. Forget it. He will tell you what he thinks you want to hear and not what is really on his egotistical agenda. The Republicans don't want him and we Democrats don't want him either. Go away.
Krikorian a Democrat?
Krikorian has not been identified as an active Democrat. He likely was instrumental in Wulsin's loss to Schmidt last fall; he certainly did not help Wulsin's candidacy. During the campaign he posted a large billboard on Montgomery Rd. near the busy Kenwood shopping area proclaiming he was a "conservative".
Krikorian attempted to attend an "open" GOP meeting recently and was asked to leave by the Hamilton Co. GOP chief. Krikorian apparently presumed that an "open" meeting would be "open." He left voluntarily, according to reports. When Jean Schmidt was side-swiped by a car when running in the pre-dawn hours, Krikorian publicly remarked that Schmidt was faking the report.
Would Krikorian be a good Democratic candidate for Congress? You be the judge. I wouldn't vote for him.
