The DCCC has officially released the names of their first wave of “Red to Blue” candidates, and Paula Brooks is one of them.
- Ami Bera (CA-03)
- Paula Brooks (OH-12)
- John Callahan (PA-15)
- John Carney (DE-AL)
- Suzan DelBene (WA-08)
- Lori Edwards (FL-12)
- Raj Goyle (KS-04)
- Roy Herron (TN-08)
- Bryan Lentz (PA-07)
- Rob Miller (SC-02)
- Steve Pougnet (CA-45)
- Dan Seals (IL-10)
- Tom White (NE-02)
A year ago no one I talked to thought this race was winnable, but Paula’s really been shaking things up. Now the worst case scenario is that Republicans will be forced to spend considerable resources to hold this “safe” seat.

Great minds, Dave...
Now we know you read Stakeholder and I read Roll Call in the AM... I just read it 10 minutes sooner.
You are certainly right about a year ago. Paula has made this a real race because she already represents 60 percent of the district as county commissioner, she won 34,000 more votes than Tiberi in the Franklin part of the 12th in 2008. And she's raising money... and this designation will help raise more.
