OH-02: Here's a protip, Schmidt: Don't have your staffers tweet that they're doing campaign activity on government time.

Meet Stephen Caraway.  He's a district field representative for Congresswoman Jean Schmidt.  Which means he's a federal employee who is paid with your tax dollars.

And he's tweeting about placing political ads paid for by Congresswoman Jean Schmidt's campaign committee.  Radio ads that criticized the Obama Administration:

Hi this is Jean Schmidt.  President Obama pledged that he’d support the American Centrifuge Plant. Now the Department of Energy announced that they will not invest in the plant. Everyone at Piketon on the project will lose their jobs. We can’t allow this decision to stand. Please join me. Call the President at 202.456.1414.  Tell him to keep his word. 202.456.1414. Join me in fighting for these jobs. I am Jean Schmidt and I paid for this message.

I've been sent this from a Democratic activist who also sent me a signed radio ad contract signed by Caraway making it perfectly clear that this radio ad was paid for by Schmidt's campaign committee.

Doesn't sound like this is the "people's work" to me...

Uh-oh.... Jean, you've got some s'plaining to do....
