OH-13: Tom "Chicken" Ganely Refuses to Debate Rep. Betty Sutton

Tom Ganley wants to replace Rep. Betty Sutton, the author of the famous "Cash for Clunkers" program that boosted auto sales in the midst of the Great Recession, putting hundreds of thousands back to work and helping to resuscitate our auto industry. Ganley, owner of dozens of car dealerships throughout NE Ohio, knows only to well the benefits of this program. The rank hypocrisy of him running against a program he personally profited from raises quite a stench.

However, it appears Ganley doesn't want to answer questions about how his dealerships made millions off the program, because he is refusing to debate Rep. Sutton during this race.

Today, Congresswoman Sutton's campaign sent the Ganley camp the following letter regarding his refusal to engage in debates:

Debate Letter From Betty Sutton

Come on, Tom. I could write about how you owe it to the constituents you want to represent or something, but I really, really want to hear you dance around questions regarding Cash for Clunkers.
