Tim Russo - Posted on 07 February 2008

On the phone, EVEN! The debate is on, thanks to the ground swell of outrage led by our own ModernEsquire. What would Ohio do without such brave bloggers to lead the way and MAKE SURE that something ALREADY HAPPENING actually does happen.

URGENT PROFOUND UPDATE!  The Ohio Democratic Party responds to the ground swell of outrage!  In URGENT PROFOUND EMAIL!  SHOCK!

Obama has agreed to participate in the Ohio CNN Debate. Details and
location will be announced on the ODP website at a later date.

From Todd Hoffman no less!  Brave bloggers in support of making things happen that are already decided, scheduled, and in fact happening, UNITE!

God, you're such an ass. This wasn't about me, it was always about the debate.  You and Jerid wanted to make it about me by spending the entire day calling me every name in the book.

I guess his campaign did change it's mind within the same day. Why did they have Coleman out there making the case that for Obama to duck out wouldn't hurt him? Odd. But I'm glad that Obama has finally cleared the air and the debate is going to happen. That's all I ever wanted.

that's what your entire little game was, modern.  you were the ONLY person clamouring that it wasn't happening, and you managed to get everyone asking the question you wanted asked.  congrats.  brave shillery at its finest.

see how the politics of the past works?  you get an A+ in Shillery 101.  Next lesson, how to feign outrage on things that NEVER HAPPENED as opposed to things that ARE HAPPENING.

next time you want to shill for hillary, make sure you have at least half a leg stand on.  just a little advice.

Are you claiming you aren't and haven't been "shilling" for Obama? Every paper and radio station (including the Associated Press) reported the comments made by the campaign that were reported today in the Dayton Daily News as Obama was not going to debate in Ohio.

I was hardly alone in interpreted the Obama's campaign comments as I did.  Hell, even Mayor Mike Coleman, came out publicly to defend the move.  Why would he defend something that wasn't happening?

So, you can live in your little pretend world and believe whatever you want.

But nobody is going to dispute your qualifications on grading shillery.  You're the pro.

By the way, you've also proven how to be a professional feigner.  Your over-the-top ceaseless personal attacks on me while you continue to NOT practice what you're preaching to me is amusing.

(no paper said he wouldn't debate. The operative word you always left out was "may"...Kumbaya...)

Hey, it is a proven fact that BSB is the PREMIER Ohio blog as Jerid "Don't tell Obama that your a blogger" Kurtz has repeatedly and rightly asserted.  I mean isn't this the blog that Redfern(?) hits "refresh" on every 10 minutes? And Ohio does have a boatload of delegates that I am sure Obama would like to add to the coffers.  It is not outside the realm of possibility that someone in the Obama campaign thinks that Ohio is meaningful enough and the discussion on this subject was contentious enough to merit a quick second thought on his Dayton Daily News comments.  Tim may have been beyond sarcastic on this post, but he may have actually hit upon the truth of the matter.  Whatever the case, I for one am happy that Obama will be participating in an Ohio debate.  I hope he uses the opportunity to speak to me more in depth about the specifics of his platform as I for one would like to kick the tires on it before I decide to pull the trigger.  Edwards was polling respectedly, and those votes may be the difference between a win or loss for either candidate.

Before you eat that crow, counselor.
