Cinci Enquirer - Worst Paper In Ohio

staff - Posted on 27 April 2006

Without a doubt the Cinci enquirer is the worst paper in Ohio. They purposely avoid covering Democrats and purposely fail to report Republican shenanigans. The Cincinnati Beacon has long been on the case, and this is another great example of Citizen journalism.

As a reader of my blog, you may know we get plenty of comments claiming the Enquirer gives cover to Phil Heimlich because of his ties to powerful businessmen like Carl Lindner, who just contributed a mind-boggling $75,000 to Heimlich

they have virtually ignored wulsin's wobbles in the 2nd district primary.

heimlich institute -- malaria and aids patients

endorsements -- misleading, mistaken, and outright wrong

fec -- failure to follow fec regulations for an entire reporting period

out-of-state money -- 58% from out of ohio and 60% of the ohio money from her own family

and that's just a sampling of the juicy news the enquirer has failed to cover.

The Plain Dealer is still in the race for worst. How can you top their non-endorsement in the 2004 presidential race - yet they rtry hard! Idiocy emanates from its editorial page non-stop and although it occasionally runs a good news story, mostly the news is laughably thin. It barely mentioned Coingate for about the first month the story was breaking, even running an editorial that called Tom Noe basically a good guy who needed to step down from the board of regents until some "questions were answered." Its metro section is all abused babies and kids dying in house fires- real news you can use.
