Is the Blackwell campaign trying to pass Republican African-American operatives as converts?

Sure looks that way.
First, the story from the Dayton Daily News:
"He impressed me today," registered nurse Felicia Hill of Huber Heights said. "I wasn't quite for sure but after hearing him firsthand, I'm pretty sure he'll get my vote."
Now, information about Ms. Hill (courtesy of daytonpolitics.com):
She has been the campaign manager for republican [sic] Donald McLaurin

They duped themselves by not paying close attention to what they were told, and/or -- gasp! -- not bothering to check out the info.
The Rag is pretty low on the totem pole when it comes to quality reporting; there's a reason it's not Cox Media's flagship paper anymore.

well, it turns out ms. hill has been in more than a few national republican spotlights for the "we're a big tent" myth.
Somebody needs to tell the DDN...
