I held off on writing about my trip up to Cleveland and Blogapalooza until today - partly to recover, and partly to make sure more people knew about it.
It was FAN-$%ing-TASTIC.
Great job by the organizers, George, Scott, Gloria and Tim and everyone else who contributed.
When I arrived bands were playing inside and out, lots of people drinking, laughing and having a good time (I think some might have woke up Sunday and realized they had too good a time, heh). When the rain came down everything moved inside - to the constant buzz of music (Scott Bakalar did a great job lining up so many - despite the world working aainst him).
Anthony from Blue Ohioan had what can only be described as a mini TV studio setup and was interviewing people.
For me, other than the great company, the highlight of the day was when Ghetto Wisdom began to play. I aint a big fan of hip hop - but these folks are something else, and everyone should check them out if they get a chance.
There were two disappointments of the day, first that Jill didn't arrive in a wetsuit, and second that Scott didn't get a chance to play - I think I would have enjoyed both those things :)
Anyhow, Jill has done the hard work collecting all the links so i don't have to. Check 'em out - and see y'all next year.
