I Love a Parade

Shamansky for C... - Posted on 06 July 2006

Part of the Conventional Wisdom of Ohio Politics is that there are certain weekends where you better show up big, or just not bother to show up at all. July 4th is, of course, one of those weekends, and man did Bob show up BIG.

We started out on the 1st, going to visit the Granville Fourth of July festival. When we arrived before 10 am, there was already a group of dedicated Bob supporters, waiting to greet us. Bob said hello to the faithful, and then proceeded to walk around the festival grounds. I think that he shook hands and took the time to talk to every eligible voter there.

I would love to be able to show you pictures of Tiberi

Love this kinda stuff, especially with pics.

So no Tiberi huh ? I thought he said something about how strong his grass roots support was ?!

I just got an e-mail from a supporter who walked for us in the Granville Parade. She said that the folks in Licking Co. passed out a whole box of Shamansky Bumper stickers that day. I should say, our volunteers have been absolute rockstars. They've come out in droves everytime we've asked them too. I don't think I've seen such dedication in a long time. We here at the Shamansky camp owe them a huge thanks...

As I said before, our volunteers have been doing an absolutely fanstastic job. They have been the lifeblood of this campaign. Bob's supporters have gone above and beyond the call of duty for us and we really appreciate that.
