It isn't push polling

Editor has a post up linking to a dkos diary, with claims of push polling. From reading the diarists account of the call it doesn't sound like a push poll to me, it's a voter ID call - which is why it is in June.
This is what you can do if you have the cash, identify voters ready for your GOTV program and the very successful 72 hour program way in advance. Stark Co. is also one of those bell weather counties in Ohio.
Keep this in mind as we begin to talk seriously about what our expectations for November should be. I'm still chasing down some phone calls preparing part 2 btw.
Yeah, sounds right

I'll confess to having almost no knowledge or understanding of polling techniques.
I generally see them as an overemphasized crutch.

You're Right, Staff...
A real push poll would generally only have a couple of questions, and they would be completely biased. For a good exmaple, google McCain's experiance in South Carolina during the 2000 primaries.
