Kos's over-the-top, protracted attacks on the National Review and now David Brooks seem extremely defensive to me and almost Republican in nature. Refute the charges, don't launch a personal attack. And posting an endless recitation of everything you think David Brooks has ever been wrong about doesn't make your case any stronger, Kos. I still like many of his diarists and find a lot of thoughtful stuff to read, but Kos seems to be caught up in the hamster wheel of his own legend.
