Ken Blackwell

has done more to besmirch faith and its practice in the state of Ohio than any other single person I can think of. Oh sure, you say, there's Parsley and Johnson and that lot, calling those who don't practice their exact type and interpretation of Christianity "secular jihadists." They're bad. But it is Blackwell who stands up and publically insults all citizens of the state who do not agree to the letter with a single, narrow interpretation of not only Christian evangelical religious faith, but also a single, narrow interpretation of what that means in political terms from which no dissent can be brooked or you are branded as godless, faithless and "secular." And then he says he wants to be the leader of this people of which probably no more than 10% at BEST would TOTALLY agree on every issue with his interpretation and conflation of religion and politics!

Any person who would do this is not only not behaving like a Christian but is verging on being seriously sinful. I can only imagine the screeching if a Democratic candidate dared to suggest that being opposed to helping the poor nad hurting as Jesus demanded suggested that they were "godless." They'd probably have a meltdown.

One more thing

Sorry

I don't know why that appeared twice. I guess Blackwell's behavior repels me so much I lost control. I'd love to see a scrap of decency, humility, compassionate or kindness from this man, but I'm not holding my breath.
