And little has been forthcoming. Brown still has no idea how to couch his message in terms that a traditionally Republican middle-class person, now perhaps struggling a bit, can relate to. His message is wonky, garbled and too focused on minutiae. I am still waiting for him to craft a more direct and powerful message and to lose that superior attitude of knowing what's best for is.
This is a task for Brown, not you or me. It's sad because this one should have been a slam-dunk. But it's going to come down to how much people connect DeWine with the things they hate that the Republicans have (or haven't) done. And if they don't, much, then....
