District 3
Stephanie plans to jump on BSB this weekend and give her own thanks, but she wanted to make sure that I posted something asap. The entire Studebaker campaign wanted to throw out our thanks and appreciation to Staff, BSB, OH-2, Plunderbund, Blogesque, Ohio 2006 Elections, Brewed Fresh Daily and everyone else out there in the Ohio blogosphere that helped us come in 4th today... or has given us help in the past (sorry if I left anyone out by name).
It's a real testament to the Ohio blogosphere that you all were able to help us compete against over 33 candidates from all over America, including the big boys out in California and PA. Starting Monday Stephanie enters the final round against four other well-funded, big name candidates from across the country. Thanks for helping us get this far, and hopefully you'll help us show DFA and the country that big things are happening in Ohio.

Stephanie is a worthy candidate. I only wish the 3rd was closer so helping out made logistical sense for me. Good luck the rest of the way.

It's projected our area will lose thousands of jobs in 2006 (see Dayton Daily News today) and the district is normally about 57-43% Republican. So a change of 8 percent will tilt the district Dem. 
Stephanie is a really classy lady and Jari, her communication director, is a very nice young man. They make a good pair. If Stephanie gets out and walks the district, an upset is very possible!  Turner votes 96% with Bush and he was the deciding vote on several issues that cost this area jobs.

But let's be honest here - why did I vote for SS? 
 Cause Jerid asked me to - 3 times. 
It's because he had built the relationships with the bloggers that they would push his product too. 
 It's because he, and those around him are dedicated, and not afraid to do the little things that add up to make a big difference.
 Jerid - keep working man - and after Nov - keep working. 
Of course I will quote a Springsteen song:  From small things (mama) big things one day come.

It was an interesting experiment to see if we could match the big box blogs - it appears we could by keeping it local and concentrating our efforts.
