From Strickland Campaign

We've been hearing reports of irregularities and malfunctions today with new machines, particularly in Cleveland. If you hear anything or have a specific story about a voting experience gone wrong, we have a reporting function on the site that we'll be using to press this issue over the coming days and weeks:

[UPDATE]
Flannery issues a press release and request

(Cleveland) Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate Bryan E. Flannery this morning made a request to Ohio Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell to extend voting hours to 8:15pm this evening in response to numerous reports of voters being turned away at polling locations in Cuyahoga and Summit Counties.

I get it now. You’re all a step ahead of me. Since it’s Strickland v. Blackwell starting tomorrow, and Blackwell is supposed to oversee Ohio’s elections, we are creating another campaign issue.

It was created years ago. These problems didnt just surface over night.
Here's the snap, Fisher to Strickland.

Stams is blitzing, picked up by Fisher.  Great block by Fisher.

Uh-oh, someone missed their assignment.  Here comes Flannery out of nowhere.  Blindside hit on Strickland and the BALL COMES LOOSE.

Flannery makes the recovery and he's off.  At the 20, the 10, TOUCHDOWN NOTRE DAME!

Wait, it looks like Dave Leland is throwing a challenge flag...

Voting in Portage Co. this morning with electronic machines went flawlessly.  It is the second election we've had with electronic voting and both times the voting itself was easy.

Last November the returns from Portage Co. came in much later than they usually do, so definitely expect that tonight in Cuyahoga.

Go Subodh!
It took three tries to get a validation card that had been "cleared" properly. The first two said "this card has already been used, remove from machine."

No privacy, one voter can easily see what another is doing.

This REALLY demonstrates the importance of having competent Democrats as poll workers - unlike my polling place, I must say.
