From openers
Democrats received a flurry of campaign literature this weekend that ranged from the dull to the uninspiring. Here’s a few snapshots:
[...]
Attorney general candidate Marc Dann, who led party challenger Subodh Chandra 21 percent to 12 percent in a Plain Dealer poll -- goes with a cliché’: posing for pictures with a sheriff.
Bit of a difference between this and the Dispatch mail poll.

the Dispatch poll was conducted before all the Chandra bulk mail and stuff went out.

exactly, this race will be close, I can just feel it. I may be thinking with my gut right now, but sometimes the gut is right. However, logic also says that the Dispatch poll is off for several reasons, the main reason because it forced undecided to picks weeks out from the primary before Chandra really hit the pavement and sent out mail.

I've had three in the last two days -- all good. Two were from Chris Celeste (different messages). Today's said, among other things, "Chandra is spelled C-H-A-N, like change!"
There was some comparison/contrast with Dann, also information about endorsements.
We also got a mailed 4-color booklet from Marc Dann (the one with the sherriff), and a hand delivered black and white Subodh Chandra information card.
I am seeing a lot of Chandra yard signs (deliberately driving a variety of roads between Worthington and OSU) but I haven't seen any Dann signs.

I am telling...
you that the Dann/Chandra race is going to be closer than people think. Those who are undecided right now, the vast majority of voters, can be persuaded to vote for Chandra. The Dispatch poll made people pick between Dann and Chandra even if they were undecided, which is the difference between the PD and the Dispatch polls. I truly believe this race is still winnable for Subodh, especially after all of the hard-work this past weekend by him, his staff, and supporters.
I urge you, if you support Chandra to call your family, friends, and neighbors and tell them to vote for him. My parents, sister, and friends would have went into the primary with no clue who to vote for in the AG race. Now they know to vote for Subodh, so instead of 20-25 undecided, possible Dann votes, they are now all going to be votes for Chandra. It does not take much work to call friends and family, (and your endorsement should be more important to your friends and family than Dann's ODP endorsement)so DO IT!!! CALL THEM!!!
