In other possible 2008 presidential matchups in Ohio:
•    Edwards edges Giuliani 45 – 42 percent;
•    Giuliani beats Obama 44 – 40 percent;
•    Clinton bests Romney 51 – 31 percent;
•    Obama inches by McCain 42 – 39 percent;
•    Edwards beats McCain 45 – 38 percent;
•    Obama tops Romney 47 – 26 percent;
•    Edwards beats Romney 52 – 26 percent.

Clinton leads in a Democratic primary matchup with 32 percent, followed by 19 percent for Obama, 13 percent for Edwards and 11 percent for Gore.
In a Republican primary, Giuliani gets 35 percent, followed 18 percent for McCain, 13 percent for Gingrich and 3 percent for Romney.
Giuliani gets a 53 – 22 percent favorability rating from Ohio voters.  Favorability ratings for other contenders are:
•    49 – 41 percent for Clinton;
•    44 – 24 percent for McCain;
•    40 – 17 percent for Obama, with 41 percent who haven’t heard enough;
•    47 – 24 percent for Edwards;
•    70 percent haven’t heard enough about Romney to form an opinion.
