Nunn is a good choice, but he strikes me as a little too conservative for Obama. Webb was against the war and is an economic populist. He would also help win Virginia. He also was Secretary of the Navy under Reagan. Bill Bradley might be an interesting choice.

I still say Bob Kerrey since he was guv then senator then school prez. He is a Nebraska version of Lee Fisher. Another choice would be Clinton or our very own Ted.

A window will open for the Bushies to attack Iran after the election. Fallon resigned as Centcom chief because of his opposition to such an attack.
John Conyers recently promised impeachment hearings if Bush and Cheney attack Iran. But, they'd have little leverage if such an attack comes in the Fall.
Fallon on the ticket would radically change the equation.
