Not So Sure

He ruled out being on a ticket as VP - says he's only interested in the top job. Plus, he's 69 years old (older than Dick Cheney) - he will be 70 when they're sworn in.

JIm Webb

Nunn is a good choice, but he strikes me as a little too conservative for Obama. Webb was against the war and is an economic populist. He would also help win Virginia. He also was Secretary of the Navy under Reagan. Bill Bradley might be an interesting choice.

Al Sharpton, Barney Frank,

Al Sharpton, Barney Frank, or George Clooney ...

I still say Bob Kerrey since

I still say Bob Kerrey since he was guv then senator then school prez. He is a Nebraska version of Lee Fisher. Another choice would be Clinton or our very own Ted.

General William Fallon

A window will open for the Bushies to attack Iran after the election. Fallon resigned as Centcom chief because of his opposition to such an attack.

John Conyers recently promised impeachment hearings if Bush and Cheney attack Iran. But, they'd have little leverage if such an attack comes in the Fall.

Fallon on the ticket would radically change the equation.

Conyers: Iran attack = impeachment

Wes Clark

White male from the south, former 4 star general, it makes a lot of sense.

Kathleen Sebelius

She'll play in Ohio and the Great Plains
