Marc Dann has already threatened to spread false rumors to keep the heat off him

So, I'm reading Benjamin Morrison's column in the Columbus Dispatch from Sunday when I noticed this little nuggest buried at the bottom:

"Dann even went so far as to threaten to fabricate allegations that newspaper editors who would report the story were also having illicit affairs."

Just like gold, you have to pan out all the silt to get the real nugget of value.  Dann hires an oppo research guy to serve as his campaign "spokeman".  An oppo guy who relishes his role as a muckraker.  And Dann has a history, acccording of Morrison, with not only threatening libel suits in his effort to keep the media off his back over his gross mismanagement, but that he also threatens to fabricate allegations about any perceived enemy of his.

Marc Dann has restarted his campaign operation to staff up his political defense, and perhaps create some distance between his political defense and himself.

My fear: Dann is going to fabricate something outrageous, push it through his campaign, and will try to point to his oppo research guy as giving it credibility.

Marc Dann doesn't care about the truth.  He was willing to lie and hide it to us for far too long, and frankly, still hasn't come clean with how royally he screwed up.  Dann doesn't care about right or wrong.  The ends justify the means, after all to him in politics.

Marc Dann doesn't care about the process given to others.  He doesn't care what he tells people about his enemies are lies he invented to discredit them.  He'll slander them first and force them to prove their innocence later after the damage has already been done.

And we're already learned that Marc Dann doesn't care about his employees except to keep them as a political human shield to justify staying in office.

Someday, someone is going to have to explain to me why the rest of us wasn't told the truth about Marc Dann, and we had to wait until now to see what kind of scum he really is.
