[Updated] CNN, NBC call Maine for Obama

Yeehaw...more elections, even on a Sunday.

Update 3X: CNN and NBC are both calling Maine for Senator Obama. With 95 percent of the results in, Obama has 59% to Sen. Clinton's 40%. This completes an Obama sweep of this weekends contests. National media are linking this weekend's Obama sweep to the departure of Sen. Clinton's campiagn manager.

Update Duece: CNN is reporting results now. Polls are open till 6pm EST.

The folks in the Great State of Maine (I love Maine) are caucusing right now. By the end of the day, campaign staff across the state will be "Bangor Bound" (had to slip that line in).

For perspective, Republicans caucused from Feb. 1st to the 3rd and only turned in 4,546 ballots. The Maine Democratic Party has already had requests for well over 4,000 Democratic absentee ballots...so, well, you know.

The Maine Democratic Party HQ might have results up later too.

The Clintons have been campaigning like mad in Maine the last few days, we'll see if that pays off for them.

Update: First results (via Turn Maine Blue) posted below the fold (and here's results via a google mashup).
