Ken Blackwell superpowers included resisting homosexual urges (that he doesn't have...)

Maybe next time, we should send bloggers to the Republican National Convention.  From TPM, we get news that the front-running candidate for RNC Chairman, Ohio's own Ken Blackwell, was interviewed at the RNC Convention in which he told a radio host that, well, listen for yourself:

"I've never had to make the choice because I've never had the urge to be other than a heterosexual," Blackwell said, "but if in fact I had the urge to be something else I could have in fact suppressed that urge."

Really, Ken?  You've never had the urge?  Even while you gave all those campaign stump speeches about fixating on Ted Strickland's belt buckle and speaking about NAMBLA? 

And this guy is going to be the voice of the Republican Party...  Vote Blackwell!
