John McCain Doesn’t Know How Many Houses He Owns

This is pretty damning stuff. John McCain was unable to answer when he was recently asked how many houses he owned.

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said in an interview Wednesday that he was uncertain how many houses he and his wife, Cindy, own.

"I think — I'll have my staff get to you," McCain told Politico in Las Cruces, N.M. "It's condominiums where — I'll have them get to you."

The correct answer is at least four, located in Arizona, California and Virginia, according to his staff. Newsweek estimated this summer that the couple owns at least seven properties.

It really begs the question, how can a man that can’t even remember all the houses he has deal with the national debt?

Or the foreclosure crisis? Economy? Jobs?

How is a man who owns so many homes he can't count going to relate to the average American as they face foreclosure or a tumbling economy or a job loss?  Those who claim he can 'relate to us' better than Barack are simply not living in reality.

This bothers me about as much as...

Obama's comments on clinging to guns and religion. If we make up our minds based on these sounds bites, we're all in trouble.

However Randy

That's how we make up our minds.

Old Man Bush's watch

This is GHW Bush looking at his watch all over. If there is any fairness in press coverage, this will be THE McCain story until at least the start of the GOP Convention.
