Joe Biden Comes To Southeastern Ohio

Living an almost equal distance between two planned Joe Biden rallies in St. Clairsville and Marietta yesterday, I had some trouble deciding which one to go to. So I went to both.

You’ve already seen some pictures from the St. Clairsville rally yesterday. Really the only highlight that this rally had that the one in Marietta didn’t was a speech from Senator Sherrod Brown that focused on the importance of labor unions and a pledge by Joe Biden to win West Virginia too.

In Marietta things started out with a speech from the mayor, followed by a great speech in support of Obama by Rep. Jennifer Garrison.

Biden gave a great stump speech that seemed to go over really well with both crowds (though I left St. Clairsville early). Of particular interest was the enthusiastic reaction Biden received after mentioning Obama dedication to saving the Delta Queen.
