I've said it before, and I'm saying it again....Jane is the only logical choice for Congress!!
This woman is so amazing and so absolutely dedicated to our country, our state and our district.
Mike Turner is a corrupt guy who has no interest in the people of Dayton and the surrounding 3rd congressional district.
If a man embezzles money, throws our hopes away, disappoints us and manages to put himself in self in league with Bob Ney, do we really want to give him another chance??
I would hope the answer to be ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!
I want to see all good Democrats get out there and drum up support for Jane--donate money, help raise money, volunteer, help her canvass, get yard signs, give your friends yard signs, put a Jane bumper sticker on your car....anything!

Outrageous Outsourcing

Raise your hand if you're unemployed or know someone who is in the Dayton area. I'm not in class, but mine is up there. As a recent college grad in search and in need of a job I'm not thrilled thousands of jobs are leaving the area thanks to no help from Mr. Mike Turner. DHL is gone and GM is circling the drain. Dayton is losing jobs because people are leaving and people are leaving because jobs are being lost. It's a vicious cycle. I saw someone wearing a political button that said Jane = Jobs. It's time to put Turner out of a job and give it to someone more capable. Jane Mitakides's plan to keep jobs here and bring back what we've lost is something we desperately need. Not only is Mitakides going to get back jobs, but she's going to do it through new, innovative outlets like clean energy. I'd hate to have to leave my town in search for work. I don't plan on being 30 and living in mom and dad's basement. Jane's going to give us a chance. Let's give her one.
"Endorsement" Questions
Apparently, the Dayton Daily News (DDN) believes Mike Turner deserves yet another chance in Washington. I have to question their logic. This is the man who has lined his pockets by earmarking money to companies (Government Defense Contractor Raj Soin) who hire his wife. I'm just guessing here, but perhaps Turner benefits from money earned by his wife?
He also apparently can't control his behavior. I read this, http://oh3wedeservebetter.blogspot.com/
and what strikes me is Turner's desperation and childish behavior. This explains the end of the DDN's "endorsement", which actually reads more like a back-handed compliment.
"[Turner] too often is abrasive and instinctively combative, which could limit his future, if not get him in trouble; everyone needs loyalists and friends eventually. He also deploys his quick intelligence in ways that at least some local people find condescending or otherwise insulting. As he continues in Congress — as he should — he could improve his act."
What I want to know from the DDN is why allow yourself to be bullied by a junior member of the minority party? Turner's only interests are what is good for Mike Turner, NOT the people of OH-3. It is irresponsible of the DDN to endorse a man who is not working for the people of this district!
