Hillary Clinton, Former Wal-Mart Director

Hillary Clinton served on Wal-Mart's board of directors when she was the so-called First Lady of Arkansas.

Funny how she never talks about that.

Just As Comical...

as Obama's "bonehead" (his words, not mine) business dealings with a developer back in Illinois who has been indicted I think.

Walmart and Hillary

Hillary was on the Board of Directors of Walmart when they were at the height of thier union-bashing and being sued for gender discrimination~     I know, I know, just because she was on the Board doesn't mean she had anything to do with Walmart's business practices, and she says she didn't know about the sweatshops or other objectionable business practices. She was only on the Board of Directors of Walmart for 6 years after all. Appartently the Clintons were socially friendly with the Walton family, being in Arkansas that's understandable. It is a little harder to understand how a member of the Board of Directors of such a company could be unaware of such base business practices, unless her position was more ceremonial than practical...She sure got paid a lot for being a figurehead if that was the case...

By contrast, Michelle Obama was with Treehouse Foods, formerly Dean Foods, one of probably 1000 suppliars for Walmart, from summer 2005 through May 2007.

Now, for me there are plenty of other reasons I'm supporting Obama over Clinton, the biggest one likes cheeseburgers and says dumb things that hurt his wife. But let's not pretend that there is a comparison to be made between these two women's role in the businesses in their states.
