Hey Carville, this is what a real Judas does - goes to Richard Mellon Scaife for a convenient question about Pastor Wright
A real Judas talks to Richard Mellon Scaife, knowing he's gonna ask about what you want him to ask about.
It was the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, the money-losing, vanity, fringe sheet of Richard Mellon Scaife, funder of the Arkansas Project, the American Spectator during its prime Clinton-hunting years and virtually every right-wing operation of note at one point or another over the last twenty years or more.
In fact, what I only discovered late this evening, when Eric Kleefeld sent me this link at National Review Online, is that not only was it Scaife's paper. Scaife himself was there sitting just to Clinton's right apparently taking part in the questioning.
After 16 years of defending the Clintons against this very man, I get to watch as she goes to sit with him to get her shot at smacking Barack Obama. Here's what James Carville once said about Scaife.
James Carville, Clinton's former campaign aide and rabid defender, called Scaife "the archconservative godfather in [a] heavily funded war against the president."
Going to this guy, to get a question about Pastor Wright....that's what I call 30 pieces of silver.
Countdown
Don't be so obtuse, Tim...
So Obama isn't going to sit down with conservative editorial boards, too? If you honestly think that this is somehow keeping the Wright story alive, then you're simply not paying attention.
Less than half an hour after Obama's tax document dump, the AP had a story about the Obama's donated less than 1% of their income to charity and that the biggest benefactor, by far, of their charitable giving was Pastor Wright's church.
The world didn't heed your call that Pastor Wright was a non-story. It's not heeding your call that the Pastor Wright story is over, either. Sorry that the world isn't abiding by your narrative, but sometimes that's how things go.
And by the way, Tim, she didn't sit down was Scaife. Scaife wasn't there, he didn't ask the question. She sat down with a paper owned by Scaife.
By that measure, then does that mean every time Obama has appeared on Faux Noise that he's a Judas? You are so out there right now there aren't enough breadcrumbs for you to find your way back, I fear.

Chapter 2
Name Calling - Politicians can't stop calling each other names.
It is the same with Sen. Obama supporters that sound like parrots when they hear a new word or a kid with a new shiny bicycle and they just have to ride around the neighborhood and show it off. They fall into the trap of mudslinging that Obama is preaching he is trying to avoid. This is the point, his campaign is failing. His followers aren’t following his example. He isn’t “uniting” or “leading” his own supporters and he will never convince the super delegates he can beat McCain.
"Race-Baiter", is just another name. Obama has stated that he wants to run a clean campaign and he doesn't use it, but Obama supporters LOVE IT! "Race-baiter" It makes me laugh every time I hear or read it, because it is a name calling trap that Obama supporters fall into.
Obama doesn't call names, but his supporter’s sure do!
I feel like I'm in an Orwellian nightmare and there is some new edition dictionary that I haven't read yet. When Obama’s supporters call their opposition names it looks eerily as if Obama's “leadership” is non-existent.
Obama's talk of "uniting" is just talk. Obama's supporters are not living the gospel of their political messiah. I wonder what will happen when millions of Obama supporters watch him be crucified by disappointment, when he doesn't receive the nomination.
I am advising my clients to stock up on Spam & rice and to stock pile water, because without Obama-man to save the day there will be L.A. Riots 1992 "Part Duex" in every major city. "Can't we all just get along?"
I guess...
If you honestly think that this is somehow keeping the Wright story alive, then you're simply not paying attention.
I guess Keith Olbermann isn't paying attention either then, modern, because that's what he said on tonight's countdown. Title of the story? The Tonya Harding Option.
Well Olbermann
Might of missed how the Obama campaign (stupidly, in my mind) pushed the story after The Speech by trying to push the non-story of a photo of Wright with Clinton at a WH prayer breakfast in the 1990s. Within half and hour of releasing his tax returns, the AP had a story about how Wright's church was the biggest benefactor of the Obamas' charitable giving.
So, yeah, I think it is silly to say that Clinton's comments was keeping the story alive when the story was still alive. Shocked as I am, I sometimes even disagree with a former ESPN sportscaster on politics.
The Pastor Disaster
Whats keeping this story alive is that Americans care about America! News Media is trying to squelch it-Obama supporters are trying to squelch it by brining up Hillary's sniper fire, but we the people, will not forget it. Nor should we! It's time to stand up for what we think and quit being afraid to speak out! We are not going to accept the speech about racism, albeit quite eloquent, when we know full well the entire incident is about America and Americanism! We are not stupid as the media would have you believe or easily side-tracked when something bothers us to our very core. Obama, not anyone else, put himself in a position of defeat! He is the one who should step down because he cannot win the general election and he and his supporters know it! Why would he want to cause his party to lose the general election? Only in America can a Pastor or anyone else, speak against their country and get away with it like this and only in America can a man attending this kind of church run for his party's nomination for Presidency and people accept it. Isn't America a great country? But He Will NOT BE Elected President!
This is good news for the Republicans, bad news for the Democrats, but no one in the Democratic party has the guts to ask Obama to step aside for the good of the party. This is an evil that Obama brought on all by himself.
As far as racism is concerned, you will see it rear its ugly head if Obama for any reason, does not get his party's nomination. and then we can say we have been held hostage by reverse racism, but where will all of that get us. It is my opinion that Pastor Wright is wrong and that he has single handedly taken us back to the days befor the civil rights movement began, Shame on you Pastor Wright, and shame on you Senator Obama for not calling him on it!
We the people
think you're full of sh!t.
The battle against mindless racism is never easy, but the leviathan must be slain out in the open, not in secret. Racial diversions must be called for what they are: appeals to the rankest instincts in humans.
Not this time.
So you are saying racism is a human instinct?
