Hey Carly: Stick to Computers, It's What You Do Best
Carly Fiorina, the former HP CEO who was forced out following a failed merger with Compaq, and current water carrier for GOP nominee John McCain, is clearly attempting to delay the healing process in the Democratic Party that will begin tomorrow night when Hillary Clinton suspends her campaign by asserting that her loss in the Democratic nomination battle is due to sexism.
Carly, you obviously know computers better than you know politics. Hillary Clinton lost this nomination battle for many reasons. First, whoever gave her the advice that it was a good idea to ignore the caucus states contributed mightly to her loss. So did the fact that her campaign did not have a plan to contest any states after Feb 5th. They basically expected to have the nomination wrapped up by Super Tuesday. By the time the campaign got back on its feet, Obama had reeled off 11 straight wins and built a lead in pledged delegates that was insurmountable.
But the beginnings of Sen. Clinton's loss in this nomination fight must be traced back to her vote to authorize the war in Iraq. Had she voted against the war, Obama would not have had an opening to enter the nomination contest in the first place. And as a senator from a solidly blue state who did not need to seek re-election for four years, Sen. Clinton could have provided the leadership that just might have stopped this disastrous war from beginning in the first place.
And, Carly, next time you go on TV in a nation who's economy is being decimated by high gas prices, rampant food inflation, and a collapsing housing market, make sure you don't wear enough jewelery to buy a frigging house.
They're Wrong
Have you ever owned an HP?
Yes As a Matter of Fact
You Lucked Out
I have a Compaq laptop (owned by HP) and exactly a week before the (1 year) warranty ran out the hard drive crashed. After fighting with them for several days they finally agreed to send a replacement. That one crashed 3 months later and by that time the battery was starting to give out.
That was about 3 months ago and I still don't know whether to bother replacing the hard drive or just throw the thing away.

Carly knows computers?
You said "Carly, you obviously know computers better than you know politics."
While her knowledge of politics may be questionable, I'm still not sure I'd agree with your statement. She doesn't know much at all about computers. Maybe her knowledge of the two subjects is tied.
(But from what I've read on this blog, there are lots of
feministspeople who would agree with her)
