Gov. Strickland Making Appearance In Florida Tomororw With Senator Obama
As a professional road warrior myself, I apperciate more than many other what the governor is doing tomororw. Way to go, Ted. You've outdone yourself to remind voters what's at stake in this campaign:
Delray Beach, FL – Tomorrow, Ohio Governor Ted Strickland will join Sen. Barack Obama, governors from around the country, and business leaders and economic experts in Florida to discuss solutions for solving the economic crisis and creating good jobs here in America.
Strickland, Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm, New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, Colorado Governor Bill Ritter, Google CEO Eric Schmidt and former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volker will discuss the economic challenges that they are seeing firsthand and will talk about the impact that Sen. Obama's Economic Rescue plan for the middle class would have on the economy in communities across America.
Strickland will talk specifically about the effects of the national economic crisis on Ohio and how Sen. Obama will partner with him to pursue federal policies that help create jobs in Ohio and across the country.
The event will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday on the Lake Worth campus of Palm Beach Community College.
