God bless those poor delusional souls that make up the vast rightwing conspiracy theorists of Ohio!
They’re livid because Democrats – no, Lib’ral Democrats – have dared to cover-up the not-truth about a non-terrorist-sympathizer and the non-issue it poses to hometown security! Damned truth tellers!
I won’t bore you with all the “Big Details” and “Damning Charges” lobbed by these wingnuts. The short version – they claim a committee oversees homeland security funding in Franklin County, but it doesn’t. They say a guy on the committee is a terrorist sympathizer, but he isn’t. They variously claim the Mayor and any number of Democrats appointed said guy, but they didn’t.
Their coordinated hit piece on the Franklin County Commission and Mayor Mike Coleman’s staff was all about the non-cover-up of this non-issue.
Since they can't beat us at the ballot box, the rightwing has been itching to link the Mayor – hell, any local Democrat – with Islamic terr’ists. They’ve failed – miserably so.
Note to the ‘wingers – it isn’t a cover-up if you’re killing a story that isn’t true.
