Follow Up: Greene County Sheriff Backs Off

The Dayton Daily News is reporting that the Republican effort to get full access to early voters records has been ended after it was criticized by Democrats and voting rights groups.
You know, people with legitimate concerns don't really tend to back down this easily.
Howdy, Sheriff?
Is voter fraud really the purview of the county sheriff?
And as the law enforcement authority for a county, doesn't he already have access to state records including social security numbers?
Not only does Sheriff Fischer sound like the picture of corruption, he also sounds like a douche who doesn't understand his current rights and abilities as a citizen and a law enforcement officer.
Or maybe he just wanted to see his name in the paper.
