I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: It is critical that Obama makes at least one trip through the Clinton areas of Southeastern Ohio if they want to win Ohio. They may not win down here, but there are votes to be had. The problem I hear constantly from people, is that they won't vote for him until they get to know him better.

Always the case in southern Ohio

Isn't meeting the candidates always the deal breaker/broker in southern Ohio? Just showing up is half the game. If Obama and Biden swing through Zanesville, Marietta, Athens, Cambridge, Portsmouth, Chillicothe--or any two of the group--and Gov. Strickland takes the Clintons through the region a couple of times while Biden hits the cities with Sherrod Brown, we can run up some real margins races across the state.

I agree.

A few trips and some real campaigning and we have a real possibility of making huge dents in the Red-Blue divide in Ohio. Very excited to see it's starting so soon. (Of course, I understand HRC will be coming through Ohio, too, but to attend STJ's memorial service.)
