Field Report
I just got back from a quick drive down the Euclid corrider (Cleveland), around Chester, the midtown area, etc. stopping by polling locations. The biggest thing that struck me is that there's not too much visibility going on in Cleveland. Now given, it's hard to get people to stand in the on/off freezing rain, but still. Not too much going on.
At a polling location on Chester I ran into a couple of people handing out lit about Obama, a little farther down Chester I found two folks holding the big Obama body sized signs. I did not see any Clinton visibility - or really yard signs for that matter - but hey, this region may have been ceded.
Compare that to what I'm hearing is going on in Franklin County (Columbus). The rain didn't hit Columbus proper, so visibility in the center of the state right now is HUGE. Also, I heard last night at one point about 500 people an hour were circulating through the Franklin County BoE (we haven't seen that sort of early vote in Cleveland at all). There were also claims that the Clinton campaign has been paying folks to picket outside the Obama office with NAFTA signs. The source claimed they looked like out of work union types.
