Bill O’Neill has honorably served our nation, state, and district as a decorated military officer, an assistant attorney general, a pediatric nurse, and a Court of Appeals judge. Northeast Ohio deserves a member of Congress that we can be proud of.
Let’s send Bill O’Neill to Congress!
We hope you’ll be able to join us for this event. Even if you can’t attend, please consider a contribution. We are in a critical stage of the campaign, and every dollar counts.
Even if you can't attend the convention in Colorado, we can promise you a special evening in Worthington when Sen. Obama makes his acceptance speech. WADC has rented the Griswold Ball Room and will have a large screen projecting the convention.
In addition, we have invited local candidates who will speak (briefly!), and provide literature and campaign materials, as well as volunteer sign-ups in the foyer. Issues campaigns will also have materials, and UAPA will be selling buttons and their great "Another Ohio Citizen for Obama" yard signs. We have invited 16 other clubs and 15 candidates -- all are welcome!
Historic Note: WADC held a similar event at the same location in 2004, when Democrats gathered to meet Eric Fingerhut and watch the convention. About 250 people came that evening, and we hope you will help make this an even greater success!

Senator Brown is coming to Gahanna to support her efforts to join Democrats as they take back the State House and to talk about how Nancy's experience, dedication, and hard work make her the best person to represent Ohio House District 20. Also on the afternoon's speaking roster will be David Robinson, candidate for U.S. Congress (12th District); John O'Grady, Clerk of Courts and candidate for County Commissioner; Paula Brooks, Franklin County Commissioner; and Jeremy Bird, General Election Director for Barack Obama's Campaign for Change.
